Here’s a very nice video explaining the basics of how climate models work, produced by the folks at IPSL in Paris. This version is French with English subtitles – for the francophones out there, you’ll notice the narration is a little more detailed than the subtitles. I particularly like bit where the earth grid is unpeeled and fed into the supercomputers:<\/p>\n
