They even have a <a title=\"Doctoral Consortium at CompSust'2010\" href=\"http:\/\/www.computational-sustainability.org\/compsust10\/DC-CompSust10-cfp.txt\" target=\"_blank\">doctoral consortium<\/a> for grad students.<\/li>\n<li>The <a title=\"IEMSS 2010 website\" href=\"http:\/\/www.iemss.org\/iemss2010\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\">International Congress on Environmental Modelling and Software<\/a>, which will be in Ottawa on July 5-8, 2010. Looks like an interesting set of <a title=\"Workshops at IEMSS2010\" href=\"http:\/\/www.iemss.org\/iemss2010\/page31.html\" target=\"_blank\">workshops<\/a>!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&#8230;and I won&#8217;t make it to either as I&#8217;ll be <a title=\"Serendipity: Studying team coordination and software verification practices for earth system modeling\" href=\"http:\/\/www.easterbrook.ca\/steve\/?p=1701\" target=\"_blank\">doing my stuff<\/a> at NCAR. I will get to attend this though:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The <a title=\"CCSM workshop site\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ccsm.ucar.edu\/events\/ws.2010\/announcement.html\" target=\"_blank\">15th Annual CCSM Workshop<\/a>, which includes some <a title=\"CCSM'2010 agenda\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ccsm.ucar.edu\/csm\/events\/ws.2010\/agenda.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">very interesting speakers<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I guess I&#8217;ll have to send some of my grad students off to the other conferences (hint, hint).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Here are two upcoming conferences, both relevant to the overlap of computer science and climate science: The International Conference on Computational Sustainability, which will be in Boston (at MIT) on June 28-30, 2010.
